Sara (she/they) is the Accessibility Coordinator within Disability Services here at MECA&D. Her educational background is in Psychology and Deaf studies from UNH Manchester, followed by a Master’s in Higher Education Administration at UMass Amherst. Sara’s work has always centered around fostering equitable and inclusive educational environments through advocacy, community engagement, and open dialogue surrounding disability. Sara strives to celebrate all the wonderful, dynamic, intersectional, and diverse disability identities our campus holds.
Raised by an artist, curiosity and creativity is fundamental to Sara’s being. In her free time, she can be found in her ceramics studio, exploring the outdoors on foot or motorcycle, and probably hyper fixating on some new hobby or idea.
