Power in Community Alliances, in conjunction with the Maine Multicultural Center will host a slide show presentation on the findings of Bangor's Sister City Delegation to El Salvador to study the changing dynamics of forced migration. The transition from a flow primarily of economic refugees to a new wave of migrants fleeing for their lives has critical implications for how we understand Latin American immigration issues in our own country.
