These programs are a part of the Indigo Arts Alliance’s mission is to amplify and empower Black and Brown artists who enrich the local Maine community.

Inspired by her surroundings, including the beautiful chaos created by her two daughters, Adams developed a vibrant, graphic pattern-based visual language filled with references to the natural world. Adam is the owner of TACHEE, a textile design company that offers small-batch printed goods, clothing, design collaborations, and digitally printed fabric, wallpaper, and homegoods that uses imagery she developed through painting.
Currently, Adams is developing a body of work that depicts her experience as a mother through a series of paintings and quilts.
