The question shouldn’t be how will you make a living; it should be how will you make a life.

Some people make sense out of the world through playing football or reading great literature. Others make sense by working with materials. I grew up in rural Maine without access to art education in my public school. Fortunately, my parents recognized my ability and allowed me to move in that direction. Art school literally saved my life. I give because I want to make sure MECA&D is here for other people for whom going to art school might be transformational. The question shouldn’t be how will you make a living; it should be how will you make a life.
