Sarah Shaw is a cartoonist and illustrator who's always on the search for a good story. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Narrative from the School of the Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute. Born and raised in Maine, Sarah spent ten years living and working internationally in Korea, Colombia, and Nepal before returning to New England in 2020. Her work is often influenced by experiences from her daily life, travel, language, culture, and world history. As a freelance cartoonist and illustrator, a few clients include the White House, The Boston Globe, and The Boston Art Review. When she's not drawing, she enjoys reading, hiking, and training for her first marathon.
