Emmeline Solomon ’13 is an artist and educator currently living in Portland, Maine. She holds and MFA from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri, a BFA in Printmaking with honors from Maine College of Art in Portland Maine, and a cup of coffee in each hand.
Emmeline’s print and installation work has been included in group shows across the country, and her artist publications can be found in the permanent collections of several public and academic libraries. Her work examines the mundane, the holy, and their inherently interchangeable nature. Folklore, superstitions, religious iconography, bags of tea, challah, and failure.
