Bernadette Esposito has taught writing, math, English education, and ESL at the University of Iowa, the University of Wyoming, Oxnard College, Albany County Detention Center, and a number of community colleges. In 2006, she trained to investigate air disasters at the National Transportation Safety Board Training Center and is working on her first book, a meditation on plane crashes. She holds two undergraduate degrees from The Evergreen State College and earned her MFA in nonfiction writing at the University of Iowa.
