Alex hails from the world of entertainment, having worked in theatre, film and television, and music. He earned his BA in Theatre (with a double minor in Film & Television Studies and Women & Gender Studies) from University of Vermont (2012). He went on to earn his MFA in Screenwriting from Boston University (2015). Alex’s screenplays have placed in numerous competitions; as a performer, he has worked with the likes of composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin), actor Parker Posey (Dazed and Confused, A Mighty Wind), and Icelandic soprano, Dísella Lárusdóttir. Alex’s experiences have instilled in him an abiding love for storytelling in all its many forms, and he is excited to bring creativity and empathy to the role of Public Relations Specialist at Maine College of Art & Design.
