Adrian is a profession potter originally from the north shore of Massachusetts. He received his BFA in Ceramics in 2012 from the Maine college of Art. Upon completing his BFA, he moved to North Carolina to work as an apprentice to the renowned studio potter, Mark Hewitt. For the next four years, Adrian trained making wood fired functional pottery and learning how to operate and manage a working pottery. After he worked with Mark for a number of years, he returned to New England where he took the job as the Ceramics studio technician at MECA and is now managing the studio and teaching classes as an Adjunct Instructor. He maintains a strong studio practice, making and selling functional hand made pottery at craft shows, galleries, from his web site and from his home.

Apart from working in the studio constantly and working his day job, Adrian enjoys Maine and New England’s beauty. From hiking and snowboarding to salt and fresh water fishing, he loves being outside and enjoying this beautiful Maine paradise. When he is not making pots, he is either happily outside, or relaxing in good company, generally with good food and drink.
