The discussion will relate to the history of Jews welcoming the stranger, giving refuge to immigrants as an act of love. The topic will be: "Why give refuge? Why is welcoming the stranger a time honored practice, and what are the costs and benefits?" The panel discussion will be followed by a reception. 

Hosted by the Maine Jewish Museum.
