Across four floors of the Porteous, nearly 100 students spent the past weekend hanging and installing the impressive art and design featured in this year's BFA Exhibition. This year’s installation was especially exciting thanks to the audience of prospective students and parents participating in the College’s October 15 Open House event.

The annual exhibition is an important opportunity for all BFA students to join their colleagues across all 11 majors, seven minors, and Foundation in sharing their work. This year’s exhibition spans four floors (Floors 1-3 along with the newly renamed “Underground”) and will remain on view until November 11.

The public will have an opportunity to experience the work in-person during the November 4 Portland Art Walk.

“I hope you have the opportunity to check out the fantastic works on view over these next few weeks, and I share my thanks to everyone who has assisted students with making this show possible,” Sarah Sawtelle ’19, Exhibitions Coordinator.

On Monday, November 7, students, faculty, and staff will come together to celebrate the work that went into creating this show and recognize the winners at a private awards ceremony in the Café.

Congratulations to the participating students on an incredible show!
