Jennifer Doebler Has Been Hired as Director of Student Life

Maine College of Art & Design recently announced an administrative hire. On January 8, 2018, Jennifer Doebler will begin serving as Director of Student Life.

Jennifer Doebler has experience serving as Assistant Director of Residence Life at both the University of Redlands in California and Simmons College in Massachusetts. She was also Orientation Program Coordinator, Freshman Seminar Instructor, Leadership Seminar Instructor, and Associate Director of First Year Experience and Students in Transition at the University of Minnesota. She holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Redlands and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

“Jennifer’s enthusiasm, innovative approaches, and strong collaborative skills make her a great fit for this role,” said Ian Anderson, MECA&D’s Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College. “She brings programming skills in residence life, experience in assessment and training development, and holistic conflict management skills, along with the unusual addition of complementary business and analytical skills. We are fortunate to have found her, and she has already demonstrated an eagerness to begin her work here building on our current student community.”
