WordCamp is an informal, community-organized event that is put together by WordPress users. These events happen all over the world and bring together anyone from casual users to core developers to connect and share ideas. If you're unfamiliar with WordPress, it's been described as "a free and open source blogging tool and a content management system." In other words, it's the system in which a lot of blogs and websites are built with (more than 22%, in fact).
