Each spring, Maine College of Art & Design reviews applications for two summer residency programs made available through the College. One is offered at the Stephen Pace House in Stonington, Maine and the other at the Jenny Family Compound in Nova Scotia.

The Stonington residencies were granted to MECA&D faculty member Mark Jamra, staffer Dietlind Vander Schaaf as well as alums Larissa Mellor ’04 ,Rachael Eastman ’94, and Nik Bsullak ’99. The Baie St Marie Artist and Family Residency at the Jenny Family Compound was awarded to Mark Marchesi ’99, Richard Metz MFA’00, Thomas Cummins MFA’05, and Crystal Heiden ’06, ,Conan Masterson and Christine Negus.
