Academic Search Complete & Art Full Text
With this combined search tool, students can access both Academic Search Complete and Art Full Text to find thousands of scholarly articles covering an array of academic disciplines, including art, science, and literature.

A&Ae Portal
Hosts eBooks that features important works of scholarship in the history of art, architecture, decorative arts, photography, and design.

Oxford Art Online
Includes Grove Art Online, an art encyclopedia that covers aspects of visual culture, bibliographies for further research, and thousands of searchable images. Other resources in this database include the Benezit Dictionary of Artists, the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, and the Oxford Companion to Western Art.

Cengage
Media Arts and design eBooks that might be relevant for some, as well as the 2013 Gardner’s Art Through the Ages on the Art & Humanities page. Students can sign-up for a free account for fourteen days. At the end of the trial, use the Start Trial link to regain access for another fourteen days, as long as MECA is physically closed due to COVID-19.

Project Muse
Digital books and journals in the humanities and social sciences. Consider searching for a term and then using the filters on the left to limit results to content that you have access to. Most of the content in this resource will be available until the end of April and possibly until the end of June.

University of California Press
Scroll down for a list of journals that can be searched individually for relevant articles. Subjects include the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, with key subject areas that include history, literature & criticism, film & media, music, religion, and sociology. Access to these journals is available until the end of June 2020.

Art Bibliographies Modern & Design and Applied Art Index
Provides records and abstracts for articles, reviews, catalogs, and books published in modern and contemporary art and design from 1973 onwards.

Artstor
Hosts over two million images of works of art that may be used for non-commercial, educational, and scholarly purposes.

University of Michigan Press
These digital books are available to read online at no cost until April 30, 2020. Areas of particular focus are performing arts; classical studies; political science; American studies (especially disability and class studies); Asian and African studies.

Audiobooks
A small but growing collection of audiobooks on a collection of subjects ranging from art to philosophy and more. Start by setting-up a My EBSCOhost account using the Sign In link at the top right of this homepage. Select titles of interest and listen to them directly on your computer or using the EBSCO Audiobook App for iPhone or Android devices.
