Art Full Text
Provides indexes to 459 art journals published from 1984 to the present, abstracts for articles published 1994 to the present, and full-text coverage of 130 journals published 1997 to the present.

Oxford Art Online
Includes Grove Art Online, an art encyclopedia that covers aspects of visual culture, bibliographies for further research, and thousands of searchable images. Other resources in this database include the Benezit Dictionary of Artists, the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, and the Oxford Companion to Western Art.

Art Bibliographies Modern
Contains abstracts of journal articles, books, essays, catalogs, PhD dissertations, and exhibition reviews on many forms of modern and contemporary art from 1974 to present.

Artstor
Hosts over two million images of works of art that may be used for non-commercial, educational, and scholarly purposes.

Audiobooks
A small but growing collection of audiobooks on a collection of subjects ranging from art to philosophy and more. Start by setting-up a My EBSCOhost account using the Sign In link at the top right of this homepage. Select titles of interest and listen to them directly on your computer or using the EBSCO Audiobook App for iPhone or Android devices.

JSTOR Arts & Sciences III Collection
Draws on titles across the visual, performing, and language arts; features the largest cluster of titles on Eastern and Western religions on JSTOR; includes all titles from the Music Collection.

Academic Search Complete
A multidiscipline database that provides full text coverage of thousands of journals covering nearly all academic areas of study.

Design and Applied Art Index
Provides records and abstracts for books, articles, news items, and reviews published in design and applied arts periodicals from 1973 onwards.

Art History Research net (AHRnet)
Formally called Arts:Search, this resource consists of four databases covering topics focused on art, design, and architecture.

Digital Maine Library (Formerly MARVEL!)
Free statewide access to a variety of online resources available to Maine libraries.
