One afternoon while browsing Craigslist, Casey Georgi discovered a curious ad posted by a man from the small town of Milo, Maine. She decided to visit him and learn more about his distinctive way of living.

Artist Bio

Casey hails from the quaint little town of Nyack, New York — as depicted in the paintings of Edward Hopper. Casey earned her Bachelor’s in Music Education from Ithaca College in 2011 and in the years since, transferred her passion to audio storytelling. In December of 2017, Casey graduated from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies where she studied radio and podcasting. Her recent projects have featured stories about immigration, a man living in the woods, a natural disaster, an unlikely family business, and music history. You can find her slinging coffee and stories to the beat of Ethiopian jazz at the Speckled Ax, in Portland, Maine.
