Sponsorship opportunities are available for MECA’s Annual Art Action and Art Honors.
Our Annual Art Auction is held on the first Saturday in November in the Porteous Building. Hundreds of high net-worth individuals who value art and education attend the event to bid on works of contemporary art and art-related items from Alumni and other Maine artists. Printed and electronic invitations, an on-line and print catalog, as well as media coverage and location signage carry the names and logos of sponsors.
MECA has had a long tradition of honoring leaders in the arts each spring. Our Art Honors event has recognized Leadership in Arts Education, the Visual Arts, Arts Philanthropy, and Entrepreneurship in the Arts for over twelve years. In May 2011, we will be once again be honoring leaders in the arts who are from Maine or who have strong Maine ties.
