Alumni Gatherings are held periodically around the country and an all MECA barbecue takes place each summer. On November 21, 2009 two alumni gatherings took place simultaneously in different cities to help foster alumni networking and strengthen our alumni community.
Elaine Angelopolous MFA '09 and Kate Katomski MFA'02 organized an alumni gathering with John Bjerklie '77 and Matt Blackwell '77 at Art Lot in Brooklyn, NY. Sachiyo Yoshida ?6 hosted an alumni gathering in Chicago at a bakery called Lovely. Please contact the alumni office if you would like to host an alumni gathering in your area.
