Paul Lewandowski, Adjunct Professor
Paul Lewandowski is a 3D designer; fashion, architecture, interiors, products and textiles. Paul's approach to design is holistic, exploring the synergy between organic and natural within the machine and man-made, pattern and non-pattern.
Paul is the Education Studio Leader and Design Principal in architecture and interior design at SMRT Architects and Engineers in Portland. He has spoken nationally on design and education theory at conferences and seminars. His built work is located in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Puerto Rico.
Paul's work has been featured in Architectural Record, Martha Stewart Living, Maine Home+Design, Design New England, L-A Magazine and Marie Claire magazines. He holds a Bachelors degrees in Architecture and Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a minor in Fine Arts and Geology. Paul is a lifelong fashion designer and began sewing at age 10. His fashion design work was featured at the inaugural show of Prose Gallery in Lewiston, Maine (his hometown) and he has presented runway collections in Boston and Portland as well as work for private clients. His latest project is a menswear raincoat designed for Betabrand clothing in San Francisco, CA.
