Philip Brou, Assistant Professor
Although he considers himself a painter, Philip Brou's work often finds form in sculpture, drawing, installation, and video. His past five years work has been an exploration of ideas of Self developed through meticulous research into facts and coincidences culled from his own life. His projects have investigated his personal relationship to The Bermuda Triangle, The Wizard of Oz, the hospital of his birth, the Grumman Avenger torpedo bomber, Steven Spielberg's childhood home, his high school senior class, and Space Probe Voyager 1's intergalactic mission; to name but a few.
