Marguerite Lawler-Rohner, Assistant Professor
Marguerite Lawler-Rohner is the recipient of many honors and awards, including Maine Teacher of the Year in 2004, a Partners in Art and Learning Grant from the Maine Arts Commission in 2006, a Fulbright memorial Fund Teacher Program to Japan in 2004, and Westbrook Teacher of the Year in 2003. Her experience as an art teacher includes Future Builders Inc., an alternative high school in Scarborough ME; the Wayneflete School in Portland; Portland Museum of Art; Cape Elizabeth Middle School; and Fred C. Wescott Junior High in Westbrook; she also teaches at the University of New England and the University of Southern Maine – Community Programs. She has also worked as an educational consultant and a freelance illustrator.
