1st Ave North Mark Marchesi was born and raised in Rye, NY and moved to Maine in 1995 to attend MECA. In 1999 he graduated with a BFA degree in Photography. Since then Mark has compiled an extensive portfolio of still images, digital video, and 16mm film. His photographs have been exhibited in group shows in New York, Florida, Oregon, and Maine, and his documentary short about lobster boat racing won an excellence award at the Berkeley Film and Video Festival in California. Mark is currently living in the Portland area and has recently become the proud father of a beautiful baby girl.
