Matthew’s work has exhibited at the 2002 Center for Maine Contemporary
Art juried biennial, the Stamford Art Association’s 22nd Annual Faber
Birren National Color Award Show, in Stamford, Connecticut, the June Fitzpatrick
Gallery at MECA, and the Hay Gallery in Portland. He says, "Using ribbon-like
tentacles of pattern and repetition, my intent is to give life to my thoughts,
my dreams, and my memories. I’m a slave to the details and I strive
for perfection in creating a visual experience of color, line, contrast,
and material."
